The Forward Controls Design GPT (Gas Tube Pin Tool) is a purpose-built jig for installing and removing the AR-15/M16 low profile gas tube roll pin. It’s machined from 6061 aluminum with a Type III hard coat anodized finish for durability and stability during frequent bench work. Designed around the Crane Mk12 pattern low profile gas blocks, the GPT uses a thick, wide base with a rebated section for vise clamping, making the small roll pin far easier to start and align.
