Barrett’s REC7 SBR is a 5.56mm NATO short-barreled rifle built on the piston-driven REC7 platform, configured here with an 8 inch barrel, Spartan System Rail, A2 flash hider, and a six-position MOE stock. It features a 17-4 stainless piston system with a two-position forward venting gas plug and a chrome-lined gas block for reliable operation under a compact SBR setup.
