The SIG Sauer SRD556-QD is a 5.56mm NATO suppressor built around an Inconel 718 suppressor core, engineered for high durability with short-barreled hosts and supersonic ammunition. It uses a fast-attach QD system that mounts to the rifle with a 1/2-28 tpi Taper-Lok style muzzle brake, making installation and removal straightforward using the retention latch.

I tried my new Sig...
I tried my new Sig Sauer SRD 556-QD suppressor this past week on my Sig Sauer 556 and my Saint Edge Pistol. It made a significant difference in the noise level. The first time my wife and I fired the Saint Edge Pistol at an indoor range, it was deafening. Even with hearing protection, my wife's ears rang for a week after shooting it unsuppressed. This past outing at the indoor range, she had no problem handling the Edge and really enjoyed shooting it with the suppressor. I also tried it on my Sig Sauer 556 and it was great. With Sig's special suppressor wrench, removing and installing the quick disconnect suppressor on different rifles is easy. I would highly recommend this suppressor to any who is lookng for one.
