The CZ P-09 is a polymer-framed, DA/SA semi-automatic pistol built around the CZ Omega trigger system. It ships with decockers installed, giving you the safety of a double-action first-pull option, and it can be converted to a manual safety configuration using the supplied parts and instructions. This 4.53 in barrel model feeds a flush-fitting 15+1 magazine and includes an integrated 1913 Picatinny rail for mounting compatible accessories.

Love this gun! The...
Love this gun! The felt recoil of .40 is negated by the extra grip and weight of this pistol. Trigger is omega, so you know it's going to be good. Highly recommend this for full size carry or home defense.

This is an excellent...
This is an excellent full size handgun. It points well, is accurate and soft shooting. It is not made in this caliber anymore though so if you want one in .40S&W NOW is the time to get it. Solidly built and never an issue with regards to reliability after 300 rounds so far. Mine in going back out to the range with me next week. I am using the grip it came with but may go up to the next size larger. The controls are within easy reach and is a great compliment to the P07. I like my 09 in .40 so much that I bought one in 9x19 as well. I'm not sure why the .40 is not as popular as it once was but it is still an excellent cartridge for defense.
