Where has this pistol...
Where has this pistol been ? WOW! I picked up my Walther PDP Full-size 9mm (5") today and headed straight to the range. I fired an assortment of ball, fmj and HPs and 100 rounds of 147gr +P hollow points from 7, 15 & 25 yards. Not a single hiccup! This thing ate everything I fed it and came back for more. The grip and bore axis gives one of tge most natural pointability I have not experienced in other handguns. I opted to use the factory nite sights and, even my aging eyes hand no problem with a quick pickup. The 5" barrel provided a great Ma Bell (Reach out and touch simeone) experience and even at 25 yards was respectable. The barrel is not top heavy but helps recover quickly from double taps. No manual safety so once one is in the peep, your finger is the safety. I have been a lifelong Beretta fan but Walther may have just win me over. This thing is a beast and a pleasure to shoot. Since I purchased mine, the price has risen over $200! However, it is worth every cent! BUY IT NOW. YOU WONT REGRET IT.

Couldn't be more...
Couldn't be more pleased with this weapon for my applications. Approximately 2000 rounds on (HP, ball, lead RN) and 0 stoppages. 5" barrel has a nice long sight radius, and shoots spot on at 25m. Scary accurate for a 650$ pistol. I found the trigger (in my opinion) to be excellent, with a nice short reset. Will purchase the 4.5" PDP compact pro as soon as available to replace my current carry. Extremely satisfied.

A friend of mine who did 22 years in the US Army infantry with 6 combat tours and 5 bronze stars has been on my case for more than a year to get one of these Walther PDP's. He told me that these guns are so well designed and so well made and so natural to shoot that I would put the rest of my pistols in long term storage. I finally got one, mostly to shut him up but THIS THING IS FINE AS MAY WINE. The design of the grip puts it in just the right position to shoot naturally and accurately. This pistol a big deal. Y'all should try it. I truly believe that you will not be disappointed.
