The Heckler & Koch MR556A1 Competition CR556-A1 is a semi-automatic AR styled rifle built for high-performance 3-gun competition use. It uses a gas piston operating system with a free-floating heavy contour cold hammer forged barrel and a flat top upper for fast optic mounting. The 14 in Modular Rail System KeyMod handguard, two-stage trigger, and Magpul CTR adjustable stock are designed to help you stay accurate and move quickly across stages.

A beautiful gun from...
A beautiful gun from Heckler and Koch. The rifle came in perfect condition, and the prices at Bud's can't be beat. The CR comes with an 14" rail, Magpul CTR stock, extended mag release, HK polymer mag, OSS muzzle break, but no iron sights. I only have a few complaints. The HK polymer mags look nice, but seem a bit flimsy at the lips. The front end is a bit heavy, due to the heavy profile barrel. Some people might not care for the proprietary HKey rail system, same idea as keymod, but slightly different. It comes with 2 rail sections and you can purchase extras if needed. No problems to report so far, 1500+ rounds through it and no malfunctions. Absolutely love the gun and very happy with Bud's as well.
