A: some people have said that Remington quality has declined I don't find that and I have been buying Remington long guns since the early 1970s and have bought 2 in the last year I think some of the problem is that people want to compare the budget models with the older models like the wingmaster a lot of new model have hi teck finishes which just does not look as good as a nice blued firearm. Rant over this gun is a very good quality firearm it is a shooter not a wall hanger fit and finish is good to execellent I would have no qualms about the quality if I bought one
