Product Overview
LaserMax CF-SHIELD45 is a 5mW red centerfire laser sight with a 650nm wavelength built for the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield. It delivers a visible red aiming point for training, concealed carry, home defense, and backup use while mounting to the pistol frame without permanent alteration. Rounded and blended for smooth carry and draw, it also includes ambidextrous switching for both right- and left-handed shooters.

The positive: it fits...
The positive: it fits perfectly on my S&W Shield .45 and adjustments are easy. The negative: There is a very slight gap between the laser housing and the trigger guard on the gun, just forward of the trigger. This WILL rub on your trigger finger. The gap is slight enough that If you are shooting only 50 rounds or so you will barely notice it. If shooting 150 or more rounds in a session, it will rub a raw spot on your trigger finger. The other drawback to the .45 Shield version is that most holster makers have IWB holsters for this laser on the 9mm Shield and the .40 cal Shield, but I have not found one yet that makes an IWB holster for the ,45 cal Shield and this laser.
