Q: Isn't the pointed tip ammo dangerous and likely to go off while in the tube of a lever action rifle due to recoil while the pointed tip is touching the cap of bullet in front of it?

Q: My local shooting range does not allow you to use Steel Jacket or Steel Core ammo, is this ammo one of these?

A: This ammo is subsonic.,and has a rubber tip. It's got a lead core. If it had a steel core,it would be AP and going as fast as possible,and have a full metalal jacket. Steel core is for Armor Piercing rounds.
