Decent JHP ammo. A little dirty but no malfunctions. Out of the entire lot I only noticed a total of 6 rounds that were dinged. They all functioned properly though. Good inexpensive hollow point round for range practice.

Worst Ammo I have ever...
Worst Ammo I have ever purchased. Every box that I have opened has several rounds that are about 1/4" shorter than the rest... The bullet appears to be the same size, so I'm assuming that there is less powder in these rounds. Which makes sense, because every mag or so I have at least one failure (to eject/feed). Absolute crap ammo!

I recently purchased a case of your Independence cartridges in 9MM. I got them in and set them aside for a day or two and then decided to open them up and have a look. Now as a rule I do not go to any great steps to inspect packages, other than to look for obvious problems. Mostly badly deformed boxes and things of this nature that indicate a problem. I took out a box of 50 and looked them over and to my surprise two of the cartridges looked shorter than the others. I picked them out and look a little closer. At first I did not give it much thought, then being the curious kind I started to look in all of the boxes and out of all 1000 rounds I found 8 that did not seem to be the same length. I got out my calipers and did some measuring. I measured the obviously short ones and out of the 8 I got a range from 24.60 MM to 24.80 MM so I got out 8 at random for the remaining boxes and got a range from 26.94 MM to 27.05 MM for an average of 2.11 MM in difference of length. I do not remember ever having that large a difference in factory loads. I did not go to the trouble to measure all of the rounds in the case. According to the information I could find (with a quick look) is that 9 MM Luger should be around 29.69 MM in length. I have not been to the range with these yet so I cant say how they perform. So you can use this info how you please.
