I bought the Pietta...
I bought the Pietta 1858 Sheriff .44 5.5 inch barrel/engraved brass frame EMF and couldn't be happier!\r Beautiful gun with clockwork like timing and a crisp trigger pull,like breaking glass. I deepened the "V" on the top strap of the frame to aim better but that has to be done on all 1858 model new army Remington reproductions unless it was made inaccurately. Comes in a pietta box with EMF paperwork placed neatly atop the manual. Shoots dead on accurate at 50 yards. 30 grain Pyrodex pellets, CCI #11 Magnum primers with a Kerr type conical bullet and no patches has a little recoil but ALOT of stopping power. The Remington 1858 design is far superior to the Colt and trust me the brass frame is plenty tough and perfectly balanced.\r I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GUN

Was very happy with shipping. Was here in two days. Gun functions well and was well made. Have not been able to shoot it yet having problem finding lead ball for it. Will give more review after I am able to fire it. The frame is brass.
