For a beginner...
For a beginner flintlock this is great I needed a new one fast and ordered this and it's been fantastic get english flints and make sure to clean it as good as possible to keep everything free and moving but it has worked great missed 3 deer with it this year but it's flintlock and the thrill is always worth the hunt had a blast can't wait to use it again next year definitely practicing with it during the summer

This is a great first...
This is a great first flintlock rifle, nice barrel, very accurate. You need to use the good swiss 3f blackpowder for the best performance (preferably 4f in the pan, but 3f is ok if either you don't have any or you misplaced your primer and your too lazy to look for it....lol! Very fun rifle, also helps get your kids and family into the black powder game a bit and great for mussleloader deer season!
