I purchased this kit...
I purchased this kit to finally be able to build/upgrade my own ARs at home. I used the tool set for the first time on my second build and it really made things much easier and enjoyable. Multiple tools in this kit were well thought out. The vise block is awesome. The ability to tighten up in the mag well to provide a strong hold in the vise is genius. The upper receiver rod is pretty much the same tool as the "reaction rod" by another company but at a much better value and included in this kit. The pivot pin tool is the easiest way to install one. Once you use it for one you'll never go back. A complaint specific to the build I had going on was the wrench/hammer. The tool itself is well thought out with a lot of ways for it to be used, but it was of no use to me on this build because I went with a Strike Industries PDW stabilizer and there was no way I could use this tool to grip the castle nut. Other than that I'm glad I bought this kit. I'm already planning to do more builds and upgrades in the future now that I have the ability too.

This kit set up is about the best package out there today. The kit has everything you need to get started in a well designed and sturdy case. Real Avid had built the tooling with a quality combined with good visual appeal. The layout in the case makes for a handy storage combined for immediate tool inventory preventing lost tools-everything is in its place at all times. Great for most build needs and compact handy storage for saving space or on the go tooling. This kit is a great package.
