The Derringer 22 mag....
The Derringer 22 mag. I bought is no doubt the worst gun I have ever bought anywhere There were a number of things wrong with it. (1) the safety would not work (2) it was to difficult to depress the trigger. and (3) it was almost impossible to cock the hammer. The gun has been returned to Cobra Arms in Utah for repair.I hope they can repair it at least so it can be fired. DON

Buds was great as...
Buds was great as usual, I highly recommend buying from them. As far as the derringer I would recommend you save your money and buy something else. The derringer does fire when you pull the trigger, but good luck in getting the spent casings out of the chamber. I tried several types of ammo but this continues to be a problem, I have to knock out the cases with a cleaning rod. Also after firing two shots the plastic piece that surrounds the firing pins cracked in half. At 2 yards you won't be able to hit paper. I guess for $99 it's fun to play with but don't rely on this for protection, it hard to handle and to get the safety off. It's also hard to keep all your fingers on the safe side of the barrel. I didn't find the trigger as bad as other users did, but I did oil it up a bit. Like I said makes a good toy or paper weight, i'll probably trade mine.
