A little bit disappoint with ATI new model which instead of with all-polymer material. The previous version of this stock included several aluminum parts as same as buds' description on the website. Anyway, they still made rail with metal. ATI's instruction manual is totally horrible and make people difficult to understand. I had to referred some youtuber's video for assembling my ruger 10/22 in the stock. Even made by polymer, the stock is still extreme firm. Hold receiver very tight. However, if you wanna keep stability of the barrel, I think you'd better insert something into the gaps between the barrel and fore. For mine, I cut 2 pieces of round shape wood to support the barrel. The surface of this stock with metal-liking finish then make it more liked a genuine AR15. Compatible well with my factory 10 rds magazine and ruger BX25 magazine . But for 10 rds magazine, you need "DIG" the mag out. Just a little inconvenient but not a big problem. The rubber grip and 6 positions recoil stock feeling good. If you're expecting a completed cosmetic changing for your old fashion ruger 10/22, this stock should be the best and inexpensive choice.
