This advantage arms...

This advantage arms Target upper for my 1911 is awesome though I have not had a chance to go fire it yet. It did not come in a hard case or have a cleaning kit. It came in a soft zippered case which I do like. I will give this a 5-star rating even without firing it yet.

So far I'm quite happy...

So far I'm quite happy with the conversion kit. Once it was cleaned and oiled and had a few rounds through it (first mag full had a couple FTFs), it worked flawlessly on my new RIA 1911 with three different AA mags and CCI Mini-mag ammo. One of the reasons I chose the RIA over the Taurus PT1911 was that there were many conflicting reports on whether any of the .22 conversion kits would work on the Taurus. AA said flatly this would not, yet some users claim it does. Since I wanted the .45 and .22 combo (it's far easier to get a conversion kit than a second handgun here in NJ) I chose the more milspec standard RIA, and so far I'm pleased with the choices. Note that the AA kit apparently no longer includes a cleaning kit, and comes in a soft pistol case, not the fitted hard case shown. Only 100 rounds through it so far, and I can only say it's as accurate off hand as I am, since I didn't do any rest shooting or careful zeroing, but it was a lot of fun to shoot.

The advantage arms kit...

The advantage arms kit operates perfectly on my Springfield 1911 frame. The barrel being stationary and only the lower part of the slide moving enhances accuracy. Easy to install and remove. Using it to improve my trigger pull ansd sight picture for 3 gun matches so cannot attest to accuracy for bullseye. It eats Blazers, CCI mini-mags and Remington golden bullets with very few issues. As the directions say it hates anything made by Federal. Great product and less expensive than many others. I highly recommend this product.
