Advantage Arms AAG19-23 G4 Conversion Kit

With the rising price...

With the rising price of 9mm ammo, I was looking for a 22LR alternative. With the Advantage Arms conversion kit, I was thrilled to find an option that would allow me to use utilize the G19 platform. Unfortunately, when I first received the kit, while I could install it on my Glock frame, I couldn't remove the slide. I spent a lot of time looking at videos and even removed the backplate and firing pin. No joy. I then took it to two different gunsmiths who couldn't remove it and feared damaging the frame. Finally, I contacted Advantage Arms. They were quick to respond to my concern and recommended I send it to their facility. To my great relief, they found two problems. First, the frame rails were .005 wider than the frames they had in stock to test, and second, their insert got slightly bent before heat treating (during the manufacturing process). They were able to remove the stuck slide with no damage to my Glock frame. Furthermore, they found a slide that worked without issue AND they refunded my entire purchase plus extra shipping. What great customer service! UPDATE: I took my gun and conversion kit to the range this weekend and the kit worked great. I am thrilled with my purchase and thrilled to support a company like Advantage Arms who stands behind their products as well as care about their customers.
