First off I couldn't...
First off I couldn't be happier with Bud's. Always professional, easy ordering and fast shipping. Now the Advantage Arms conversion kit. When I received the kit I followed the instructions for lubrication and installation. Went together easily. However at the range, fired the first round and then the trigger didn't seem to reset. Manually cycled the slide several times, would not fire again. Cleared the weapon and finished my range visit with a couple of other firearms I had brought. Because the trigger would not release I could not remove the slide so I contacted Advantage Arms directly. They seem to know right away what the problem was. Their firing pin was out of spec. With the flashlight, I was able to see that the seer was not clearing. I used a small screwdriver to force the seer past the firing pin and remove the slide. With that confirmed I contacted Advantage Arms again. They sent me out a replacement firing pin. After removing the original firing pin, I could clearly see the difference. Install the new firing pin and recently went to the range. Everything worked as it should. I was even able to fire some of the cheaper 22 LR that they claimed wouldn't work. I used CCI mini mag CPRN 40gr (recommended) and Federal CPHP 36 gr. value pack. Once I got it running, I was very pleased with how it shot. I the issue I have is with quality control by Advantage Arms. Their product support was very responsive and I appreciate that.
