I can't speak on the Franklin armory binary however, from my personal experience this nice lightweight carrier combined with any Fostech binary trigger surprisingly reduced the time for a full cycle on my AR-15 so from trigger squeezed, then recoil an gass whip that beauty designed carrier to the open position, shell ejects, carrier zips back into action while grabbing a new round, then repeat. As of the good amount of weight reduction and loss in mass, it actually allows the cycling to complete faster which in the end result allows me to operate my binary trigger that much faster also allowing for faster rate of fire for any individual any AR build
