The Magpul B.A.D. Lever is an ambidextrous bolt catch paddle extension that helps speed up reloads and malfunction clearance on AR-15 and M16 platforms. It adds a right-side paddle extension that can be used from the fire control or ready position using your trigger finger, giving quicker, more consistent bolt stop manipulation without changing your grip.

You can actuate it...
You can actuate it easily without putting your finger in the trigger guard. It is a minor pain in the rear to put onto the bolt release paddle. Crank it down onto the bolt release paddle and the only wobble will be because of the paddle wobbling in its little mount on its pin itself. If you are running a fixed magazine build, this, to me, is a necessity. It lets you check the chamber without juggling the rifle or awkwardly trying hold the bolt release down and release the charging handle. Just push on the BAD lever with your index finger and manipulate the charging handle with your support hand.
