The POF Tomahawk Ambidextrous Charging Handle is a CNC-machined AR-15 charging handle engineered for fast, comfortable manipulation from either side. Inspired by the POF-USA American Patriot Tomahawk design, it uses oversized ambidextrous levers to make palm-blading or thumb/finger charging easier during every use.

A: yes it will work. there is no differance in the charging handle for a .223 or 5.56
