The SilencerCo Gas Defeating Charging Handle (GDCH) for AR-15 is machined from black anodized 7075-T6 aluminum and features an O-ring seal designed to help reduce gas escaping from the charging handle area. An ambidextrous, oversized lever design supports smooth operation during charging and clearing, helping create a more comfortable shooting experience with common AR-15 chamberings.

If you are planning on...
If you are planning on using a suppressor, esp. on a SBR, then it pays to have one that reroutes the gas from curling up into your eyes. If you don't know what I'm talking about then consider yourself blessed. It is not pleasant. Good product esp. when you want as many of this company's products on their platform
