The Superlative Arms AR-15 Solid Adjustable Gas Block .625" in Black is a direct-impingement gas block that uses the patented Bleed Off system. Instead of restricting gas like conventional adjustable blocks, it bleeds excess gas out the front of the block, helping the action run cleaner and cooler while reducing wear on the bolt carrier group and upper receiver. The adjustment detent is located outside the block to help minimize contamination from carbon buildup, and the bleed-off vent directs gas forward away from the operator.
