Great product and very nice quality. It was made in the USA on the box, I say this because I bought a factory Sig 1911 barrel also and it was labeled made in Korea. I give this barrel a very positive rating. Now the negative, be very careful of your model number because there are two versions, One is for the older P229s and Buds does not disclose this and does not have it in their description. I bought it and it installed into the slide perfectly but would not go but about 90 percent onto the frame. After calling Sig to ask why I learned there are two models not because of changes made to the newer 229's. Buds I would think would have known this and put this in the description. Then after you buy it and learn, you must ship this back at your expense of course, and then wait 2-3 weeks for them to get it accepted even though it shows by tracking that it was delivered within 3 days. Then they send you an email telling you that you will receive a refund minus the original shipping of course, and an additional 10% restocking fee, even though they did not properly describe the product and you can write this on the return slip but they will not honor it and charge you anyway. If you make this error in purchasing just understand you will pay $14(Buds charge) original shipping to get it, then you will pay $5 reality shipping to send it back to them, and then lose another 10% which was about $17. In the end, I lost about $36 and waited over a month to get my refund because when you receive the email it says you will only get it in 5-7 days. I felt that Buds should not charge the restocking fee due to them not disclosing this information but that's just my opinion. 5 years as a Team Buds member and over 40 firearm purchases. Just my opinion and thoughts. The product was excellent, Buds, not so much.
