Good, but with some...
Good, but with some flaws.\\r\ \\r\ Pros:\\r\ I like the idea of this product. It's made of a polymer that's strong and light, so definitely preferable to the wood stock and handgrip. The stock is folding and telescopic, so it can be folded in for maximum size reduction and portability, then extended out and telescopically adjusted for the optimum shooting angle and cheek rest.\\r\ \\r\ The cheek rest itself uses a hex screw adjustment that will have to be adjusted, then tightened down.\\r\ \\r\ Cons:\\r\ Assembly can be VERY tricky. The screws and nuts are not separated OR color coded, and the instructions are minimal. Thankfully I've done this a while and figured it out fairly quickly, but I can see someone swapping this out for the first time running into a lot of trouble and here's why:\\r\ \\r\ First, the buttstock didn't insert into my AK at all. I own a Century Arms AK-47 with a fixed polymer buttstock and handgrip, so I was swapping out the fixed buttstock for the folding one. Comparing the part that's supposed to be inserted into the frame and screwed down in place, the ATI folding buttstock is considerably larger than the one I took out of my AK. Maybe this one is sized for an actual Russian AK or a different model... I don't know. But definitely didn't fit mine. So out came the dremmel drill, and A LOT of manual grinding down to get it to be the right size. Word of advice, put on goggles cuz the melted plastic goes everywhere. You don't want a small piece of hot melted polymer in your eyes.\\r\ \\r\ Second, the instructions say to drill a 1/16" hole into the buttstock in the appropriate place to screw it into the frame, then expand that hole with a 3/16" drill. I can tell you the whole in the frame that is supposed to allow for this is definitely smaller than 3/16", so that instruction I could not follow, otherwise I would've damaged my AK frame, and once you drill a large hole into the polymer, you're not gonna be able to make it smaller.\\r\ \\r\ Lastly, and this is a minor issue but an issue for me nonetheless, I don't like that the cheek rest is tightened down by hex screws. That means once you have your adjustment and tighten the screw, you can't make future adjustments on the fly. It would've been better if this was designed using some kind of a slide-and-lock system so adjustments could be made without the need of a hex key.

This is a nice...
This is a nice product.however you do need to modify some of the pieces. Its not a open and just slap it on.You have to drill holes for your stock, remove edges on the inside of the hand guard, trim the gas tube cover.overall nice product though.
