I have used one of...
I have used one of these blocks for years on my work table. It works well when working on the AR's. I recently needed a place to keep my AR's but space was limited. I purchased five blocks and mounted them onto a nice piece of oak then attached the oak to wall studs in my closet high enough so they rifles butt stock was above the light switch. This gave me a nice vertical wall mount for the rifles and only used 20" of wall space. It also keeps them locked onto the block.
