Fortunately I have not...
Fortunately I have not yet had to use this on any of my own rifles. I have witnessed the smaller 5.56 shell extractor used on rifles at the range which is the reason I bought both 5.56 and .308 shell extractors so I've got the tools should I ever need them. For the price it was an easy decision.
