The Anderson Manufacturing AM9 9mm lower assembly is an AR-15 pattern AR-9 receiver designed to accept Glock-style 9mm magazines. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and built to use standard AR-15 lower parts, this partial lower is designed for last round hold open functionality to support a reliable AR-9 build.

Buds shipped promptly...
Buds shipped promptly to FFL was wrapped completely in bubble wrap, exceptional condition, this is AR platform number 47 that I have built either for myself or for friends. I have switched out with three different manufacturers uppers and switched out any other parts that could be an issue. It appears that the lower receiver is out of spec. The weapon system will not charge with the rear takedown pin, pushed all the way in if the takedown pin is pulled out weapon will function normally for a functions check . As soon as rear takedown pin is installed the bolt will bind and not move into the buffer tube assembly. So unfortunately, I cannot even fire the weapon at this point. I also believe that I do not have any coverage through buds gun store to make this right.

There haven't been...
There haven't been many reviews for the Anderson AM9 Lower Receiver Assembly at this point and that kind of made me nervous about buying this lower receiver, but I have used several Anderson stripped lowers for .233/5.56 builds and those worked out great, so I had confidence that Anderson wouldn't let me down this time either. The receiver arrived at my FFL quickly. It was packaged well in bubble wrap and that was inside a cardboard box. The receiver was in good shape with no defects in the finish. The last round bolt hold open feature is very nice looking and its contained in the receiver, unlike a lot of other receivers with that feature where the rod assembly is external. As of now I'm still researching and assembling parts for my AR-9 build, but I'm confident that I won't have any problems. At least with the lower receiver.
