The CMMG MK9LE is a dedicated 9mm AR-15 pattern lower receiver built from forged 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in Type III hard anodized coating. It’s designed to run Colt SMG style magazines and includes integrated feed ramps, ejector, and an extended bolt catch for reliable cycling when paired with the correct 9mm upper and bolt system.

I am a returning Buds...

I am a returning Buds customer because they often have the best items at the best prices and this time is no exception. The lower receiver took longer than usual to arrive, 11 days total including two weekends but that is really not a big deal to me. The CMMG 9mm lower receiver is a great item. No use of add on magwell adapter blocks which I do not like and certainly don't want to pay for. The lower is made with the integrated magwell for the colt style 32 round stick magazine. I tried the metalform, C-Products, AR-Stoner, and ASC and they all worked fine although without a loader you cant get past 10-12 bullets without killing your fingers. I picked up the lower at noon, assembled the rifle and was shooting by 2:30. It was slow because I was cleaning the barrel between the first shots to break it in (I know, not everyone thinks it's necessary, including me but I did it anyway) I put 100 rounds of winchester white box 115 gr FMJ and 100 rounds of my 124 gr berrys plated through it and had zero malfunctions but two instances when the bolt didn't stay open after the last shot. Since the gun is brand new, I will withold judgement. Besides, those are usually magazine or ammo related. There were no blems, the machining was all good and the thing went together perfectly. If you are going to build your own AR 9mm this is the best place to start.

My wife bought me this...

My wife bought me this for an anniversary present, so I'm posting under her account. Very well made! Probably one of the nicest forged lowers I've ever built up. Finish is nice and even. Bolt catch comes installed, so that saves a bit of hassle. Went w/ a DPMS LPK, but opted for KNS anti rotation pins on the advice of CMMG. The blowback operation on pistol caliber carbines are harder on the FCG pins. Just an FYI those that didn't know. This isn't my first CMMG purchase and I've never had a single complaint on their products. Seriously considering building an AR10 w/ CMMG lower and upper as a basis. The dedicated 9mm lowers seem to be very popular, so get them while you can. Will report back when I get my upper finished!
