A: This is not an NFA item, it does require an ffl to transfer, and perform the background check, lower receivers are the serialized (firearm) And Josh is wrоng about this being a " finished lower receiver" it is a STRIPPED lower reciever, and does NOT include lower parts kit, trigger, etc...

A: Yes, this is made of polymer. Personally I'd spend a couple extra bucks and get a metal/aluminum lower but that's just me. I know plenty of people and couple manufacturers use polymer lowers for AR-15s but Don't think I'd use one on anything above a 22. I've heard of several breaking and a good sayings buy once cry once.
