This is a great grip...

This is a great grip concept! The idea of adding a beveled magwell and a custom grip all-in-one saves both money and time. In my opinion, the additional Allen screw, which attaches the grip panels to themselves seems both a testament to the thoughtful design and unnecessary. That being said, my suggestion would be to make the screw a more common size, as I had to search for a wrench outside the basic set that came with my tool kit. Though I would not rate less than a five for the uncommon Allen head size, the flaw I find in the product for which I will remove a star is its color/sheen. I mounted these grips on a pair of Girsan, long slide, 10mm guns, which are a deep black, satin, ceracoat (sp?) finish. In contrast, these grips appear to be more dark charcoal than black and with a flat finish, similar to parkerizing, which I do not prefer. Al-in-all, I find the grips to be a good purchase. Because they are a unique design that provides great utility for the purchase price, I am going to overlook the color/sheen issue and keep them. I do think the manufacturer has a super concept in these grips and feel they would be well-advised to make them in other colors, materials and styles because, again, in my opinion, they would sell very well!
