A: Daniel, I am skeptical as well but, Pachmayr states - ((After years of research, Pachmayr has developed this breakthrough rubber material - 50% softer than a regular grip. The New Finger Groove Decelerator Grip is designed to control the recoil produced by a powerful revolver. Combined with recoil absorbing air cushions along the backstrap, this grip is ideal for shooters that require the ultimate control and shooting comfort)). My opinion is, there is only so much that can be done to mitigate recoil on a handgun grip as compared to a long gun stock.
