The Manticore Arms Tavor TS12 Muzzle Brake is designed to thread on where the TS12’s forend retainer nut installs. It updates the look of the IWI Tavor TS12 while helping reduce felt recoil. The recoil reduction is more noticeable when firing more powerful loads, while still allowing the use of TS12 chokes.

Excellent quality...

Excellent quality solid machined steel. Nicely finished. With lighter loads, not much difference in recoil. Heavy slug or buckshot loads, noticeable recoil reduction. Practical addition to an already great gun.

Q: it seems a muzzle break on a shot gun would be detrimental. Wouldn't some of, or at least fragments of the lead pellets come out radially from the break?

A: no the brake diameter is large enough that the slug or shot charge should not make contact. Now if it is effective and helps anything is subject to opinion. IMO it is marketing Hype I have ported choke tubes on my competition skeet gun and they dont cause any issues with plastic or lead the do develop a lot of carbon that needs to be cleaned off
