Product Overview
The Apex Tactical Specialties Action Enhancement Duty/Carry Kit for the S&W M&P Shield (9mm / .40 S&W) combines the Apex Duty/Carry Kit with the Apex Action Enhancement Trigger. It is a drop-in replacement that swaps the factory hinged trigger for a solid aluminum trigger body designed to smooth out the pull and improve control.

- Approximately 2 lbs lighter trigger pull depending on factory tolerance variation
- Reduces pre-travel and over-travel by approximately 20%
- Smooth face with a center-mounted pivoting safety that maintains factory safety values
- Drop-in trigger replacement for the S&W M&P Shield 9mm / .40 S&W
- Shorter over-travel and more detectable trigger reset
For best results, Apex strongly recommends armorer or gunsmith installation of the Ultimate Striker Block (USB) into the Shield slide.

It is like I have whole new gun! I had considered buying the new Shield Plus because I had heard the trigger on the pistol was greatly improved; however, I opted for a more budget friendly upgrade to my current Shield 9mm (the original).This trigger lives up to its name. It really does enhance the performance of the pistol. Trigger pull weight is reduced, reset is VASTLY better, and the trigger break is cleaner. First time at the range with the new trigger, my accuracy improved immediately. Great product, and as always, great customer service from Bud's.
