The Aero Precision M5 .308 stripped upper receiver is a forged 7075-T6 aluminum foundation for an AR-10 pattern build. It’s precision machined to accept standard .308 components, with M4 feed ramps, DPMS-size 0.2795 takedown pin holes, and a DPMS high profile 0.210 tang for compatibility with the M5 platform.

I had an Aero AR-10...

I had an Aero AR-10 (M5) lower and bought an unbranded upper as part of a package. The generic upper did not fit correctly on the Aero lower. This Aero M5 upper fit perfect and worked perfectly as well! Don't cheap out and mismatch parts like I mistakenly did... get the right parts here the first time. Bud's had great prices and shipped quick. Very satisfied.
