Bought 5 years ago, still using them. Great eye pro. Metal bows are much thinner than plastic versions, and dramatically increase efficacy of ear pro due to reduced "leakage". Minimal scratching, but after 5 years, it may be time to upgrade to a fresh pair. Will buy again.
