This has some "give" but with almost all lasers being nearly 1" in dimension bring the barrel height closer to the bottom of the trigger guard if you did get it to cram in there you would never get it to cleanly draw in a life or death situation. My personal opinion is; If you are a CCW holder, find a cydex molded model for your specific gun that is made for a laser site attachment.
