READ THIS! I wanted a...
READ THIS! I wanted a biometric gun safe for use in our bedroom for home safety. The Bulldog Magnum Biometric Quick Vault meets our needs, with one important caveat... it will not capture all fingerprints, regardless of how much or little pressure you apply, both in recording prints and using them for access. I was unable to get all of my fingers programmed, and some of the fingers accepted would not open the vault. My wife is a nurse at our local hospital and said the problem may be related to the condition of the skin on my fingertips. One of her coworkers, in her seventies, was never able to open the biometric med storage cabinet. Bingo! I am a left-handed dentist, age 71, and I can only use two of the fingers on my right hand to open the vault. Our fingerprints become less discernible as we age. Keep this in mind when contemplating the purchase of any biometric device.
