Save your money. The...

Save your money. The mounting system is fine. The adjustment screws are fine. I sighted it in combination with a bore laser. The laser is not particularly bright, limiting its utility to close range and darkness. That alone would be acceptable for CQB. However, the pressure pad does not have a good mounting option. There is just a slightly sticky pad that doesn't remain adhered during shooting. I have it mounted to an AKM (7.62x39). Today it failed after 30 rounds. Maybe the battery just died. That is when I realized it was not a CR123. It is a smaller battery of similar shape to a CR123. This laser is the only item I own that relies on that battery type so I did not have a replacement. So, I don't know. Maybe it still works. In retrospect, I would not go cheap on the laser.

A: Yes Archie, this can be mounted with the proper mount. Caliber does not matter.

A: Hi Archie, It will fit on either as long as they have a Picatinny rail. It mounts directly to the rifle on a Picatinny rail and is operated by either the push button or included pressure pad. The laser has a visible range of 20 yards in daylight, and will reach out to 300 yards and beyond at night. The compact, low profile laser weighs only 2.4 ounces and has a rugged aluminum housing.
