The Streamlight TLR-1 GameSpotter is a long-range, rail-mounted game-tracking weapon light designed to help you identify targets at distance while preserving night vision. It combines a green C4 LED with a deep-dish parabolic reflector for an intense hot spot aimed at long-range identification up to 350 meters. Built for harsh use, this tough light features an impact-resistant anodized aluminum body and an unbreakable polycarbonate lens with a scratch-resistant coating, and it is IPX7 waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes.

This light is great, i...
This light is great, i was unimpressed at its power when first turning it on. When mounted on a rifle at night, i could make out exact shapes of any critters at 100 yards. this was my max range, I believe it could easily identify targets farther. The position of the switch seems perfect to me. I was unable to find out much about how it worked online. It has a rocker function with one direction switching it on momentarily and the other leaving it on. The nice thing about this was its position makes it perfect to mount to the bottom of a rifle. my front finger is perfectly lined up to hit either side of the switch with my hand resting on a magpul angled fore grip. No wires, external switches required. Think about it, any extra harnesses have to pulled and switched when moving to a different firearm. Nearly perfect, i would only change the attatchment clamp. I would prefer that the light slides onto the rail, and a pushbutton latch secured the lights position along the length of the rail. This way there would be no chance of it falling off.
