Purchased for Officers 1911. I am a big fan of CMC mags, fantastic quality, never a problem with CMC mags, always work, worth the cost and peace of mind.

I was excited to try...
I was excited to try this out in my Officers model. It fits and seats well. Works well racking rounds through by hand. But yesterday I finally got to try it out, and had 3 failures to extract in 30 rounds. Never happened before now. I will go back with my original 6 rnd mags and try again with the same ammo. The gun has never had this happen before, so I am not sure if something is up with the gun, or the mag. Seems to me maybe that extra round might be making them too tight, and preventing an extraction? Maybe someone can help me in this. I will test it out again soon as I can, with a couple of different types of ammo, and my original mag as well. (I used PMC 230 grn FMJ yesterday, which never failed before) \\r\ I gave 3 stars for now, since I am not sure if it is the magazine or the gun that is the problem.
