A: Not a stupid question at all, when 1st getting into firearms magazine compatibility can be tricky. Yes that'll work, no problems. Magpul makes fantastic products, all of my AR15 magazines are Magpul and most of my AK mags are mag pul as well

A: Charles, yes sir, this will also work for 300 blackout no problem. This is actually meant for 223/5.56 and 300 blackout. Buds website just doesn't specify this. Hope this helps.
