ProMag Hi-Point 995/995TS Magazine 15RD Extended Blue-Steel

A: I would rate this a 7 Will. I have tuned many mags by buying longer Wollf springs and custom fitting to taste. I did this on a Jennings 380 magazine that would not feed 1 mag full of 7 shots. I carried that pistol for years as a backup gun in an ankle holster afterwards.

A: Probably a 5, some people run them no problem but most have issues. The Redball is what I bought for my hi point carbine. It looks a little different but it seems to function at about a 9 out of 10.

A: As a side note, there are plenty of you tube and other "how to's" to make this magazine work reliably, Most are not difficult at all.

A: Hi Daniel, I haven't heard of this issue for quite some time now. I believe you'll be fine as Buds sells alot of these for the Hi Points.

A: Daniel. I use these magazines with my Hi-Point carbine. Did the Hi-Point rep say (not that anybody would ever know) that using anything but Hi-Point magazines voids the lifetime warranty. At the range my ProMag 15 round magazines are less then 100% reliable.

A: Daniel, this issue can be avoided by inserting this magazine until you hear/feel the lock in click then stop. Folks were slapping in magazines and over inserting the magazine was the cause of feeding issues.

A: These are for the hipoint 995 carbine only and will not work with a C9 pistol

A: Michael, no Sir, this fits the 995 Carbine and 995-TS. While I have found that the magazines for my carbine will slide into the c9 they are not held secure enough to work properly. By secure I mean that even though the magazine is locked into place it moves forwards and backwards causing ftf issues. It appears that the lack of the larger end cap on the magazine allows this action to happen.Cheers and stay safe!
