If you read the...
If you read the question (see Q&A below) that I posted before I purchased the Talley scope rings medium height kit for my Savage 93G; you should not accept the answers given. At least not if your rifle is the Savage 93G with iron sights. When I mounted my Bushnell Banner 2 (3 - 9 X 40 mm) scope using the Talley medium height bases, the reticle end of the scope is sitting on top of and touching the iron sight of the rifle. The points of contact also prevent me from moving the scope backward for proper eye relief -- in other words, the scope is only capable of mounting all the way forward. I'm now looking for taller mounts.
