A: The ONLY difference is the retical size (3.5 vs. 5) now, I am not a Fan at All of the "Dovetail Adapter" for Optics. Your best best would be to have a reputable company mill the slide out for the particular Optic you'd want. That way it can be made to fit without any need for Adapter plates.
