I have owned a dozen...
I have owned a dozen Luepold scopes. They are my go to optic. This scope did not disappoint me. Super clarity and the fire dot is a great help with my eyesight. Adjustable fire dot for dawn to dusk. Great scope.

You can see a pimple...

I absolutely love this...
I absolutely love this scope! The customizable elevation turret that is part of the "CDS" feature is a game changer for me. Of course, in addition to all the many features that make Leupold scopes great. I've used them for 35 years and have only ever had one problem. A Vari-X III I had fogged up just enough for it to be noticeable in low-light conditions, so I sent it back to the factory and it was re-worked to as-new condition at no charge to me. After done experience with this VX-5 HD 3-15x44, if in had one critique to make, it would involve the windage turret. Surprisingly, the clicks on it are almost impossible to feel or hear. That's not a big deal for me, as I shouldn't be adjusting for windage much now that I have my chosen ammo zeroed in and custom CDS disk installed. It's worth noting, with this being a $1,000+ scope. I have $99 ones that outshine it in that regard, but all in all I give it 5 stars. (If there was an option, I might knock it down to 4.9 just due to the windage turret.
