A: Yes it'll work just fine, the reticle being for 22mag isn't going to make much of a difference unless your trying to do long range shooting, not very common with 22lr but if you decide you must just learn your hold over ls and how they effect point of aim and point of inpact.

A: Charlie, this won't fit with the included scope rings. This has dovetail scope rings, you need picatinny/Weaver scope rings. You can purchase different rings and then this would work fine. Sorry but hope this helps.
