This is literally my...
This is literally my carry gun now. I carry this every day at work. Why do I carry it? Because it goes bang every time. This cycles and fires flawlessly no matter what kind of junk ammo I put in it. I've put steel case aluminum case 10-year-old rounds, wet rounds, dry rounds, dirty rounds. It doesn't care. That firing pin will strike the primer every single time and the gun will cycle every single time. About the only time it didn't cycle had a squib load which I thank god it didn't since it was during a rapid fire drill. This is by far the most reliable gun I have. It is more reliable than my sig, more reliable than my Glock and more reliable than my Springfield. I didn't believe it after watching YouTube videos, but after owning the gun myself I can honestly say this is the most reliable firearm I have. The trigger pull is absolutely atrocious for the first pull, but every trigger pull after that is nearly perfect. Very crisp. Very clean break. It does have a long reset and a long pull but it's consistent and once again you absolutely cannot beat the reliability.

The Arex Zero 1S has...
The Arex Zero 1S has become my favorite self loader. I have always wanted a SIG 226. However, I am a left handed shooter. The Zero 1S is a clone of the SIG but with better features for a left handed shooter that the SIG does not have. The Zero 1S has an ambidextrous safety and a left and right side mag release. This is a big deal for me. The quality is close to that of the SIG. The accuracy is exceptional. The reliability is what you want. I have never had a failure to feed with all types and bullet weights of ammo. Due to the size and weight fully loaded, it is not my EDC gun. My EDC is a SIG P239 in 40 S&W. However, I am so impressed with the Zero 1S that it is now my primary home defense pistol. I mounted a combo light and laser on the Zero 1S that makes target acquisition clear and rapid.
