Sold my Beretta .25...
Sold my Beretta .25 caliber and bought the .32 Alleycat from Bud's for more punch. I use the Alleycat for quick visits to the store or when I want to carry for short periods of time when I just want to grab something quick without getting my gun belt on and holster. The front night sight definitely helps with accuracy. The .32 is "chunkier" than the .25 caliber but is easier to get a good grip on. I added the Pearce grip extensions on the magazine and that also helped a lot. Because it is a larger pistol compared to the .25 caliber, it leaves a larger imprint in your pocket but still is very concealable. The gun is very accurate with a good firm grip. I did shoot the Alleycat with the following ammunition. For target: Fiocchi 73 grain FMC Leadless, PMC 71 grs FMJ, Herters 73 grs FMJ, Winchester 71 grs FMJ. For self-defense: Winchester 60 grs Silvertip JHP and Corbon 60 grs JHP. Beretta recommends not using anything that delivers over 130 ft/lbs. of energy. Fiocchi (160 ft/lbs) and Cor Bon (147 ft/lbs) are advertised above that and you can feel it compared to both Winchester types which are advertised at 129 ft/lbs for the FMJ and 125 ft/lbs for the Silvertip HP. I intend to keep with the Winchester brand not only because it meets the Beretta guidelines but because it gave me very controllable and accurate results. The Alleycat shot all types of ammo with no problems with FTF's or FTE's. My initial impression on the Beretta Alleycat is very favorable. Based on my experience with the .25 caliber Beretta, I will keep this pocket pistol very clean. My first experience at the range with this new gun and the different kinds of ammo told me that I need to hold the Alleycat firmly in order to get excellent accuracy with this smaller size pistol where accuracy is a premium over the larger calibers that I carry. My only comments about this gun (and they are not meant to be negative) is that you have to make sure the tip up barrel is fully engaged in the locked position after loading your first round. My barrel is a little stiff but I attribute that to being new. The slide is hard to pull back if you are using that method to load your first round. I recommend loading the first round via the tip up barrel as designed. The tear down of the Alleycat is very simple and easy to do for cleaning purposes which you should do often in order to eliminate any FTF's. I polished my feed ramp and keep the gun lubricated for ease of action. Overall a great gun from Beretta and, as usual, great service from Bud's.

Picked up my gun...
Picked up my gun today, I love the little fart. I haven't shot it yet, but I have the 22 version so I'm sure it will shoot fine. Buds was great the gun even came with a pocket holster which was unexpected but cool. This was my first buy but probably not my last.
