A: Devin, the Breach face is larger on the 40. You need to convert using a complete slide assembly, (barrel, slide) the locking block is the same as well as the ejector. You will also need to use the correct caliber magazine. Although they look the same the feed lips are different on the 40 compared to the 9. Trying to do it by just swapping barrels will result in a very unreliable hand gun.
